Experience

Kevin York has more than thirty years of experience in a variety of technical and management roles with a focus on the telecommunications industry. Kevin has served in leadership roles in the design and development of billing, customer care and order management solutions at a variety of telecommunications providers while working with Technology Applications, Convergys, and Advanced Technology Group.

Kevin holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is active as a volunteer at his children’s schools and is an avid runner.

Career Highlights

  • Led efforts to identify and deploy a cloud based quoting solution at CenturyLink.  Kevin led a team that delivered a solution that supports all quoting for the managed services and co-location lines of business at CenturyLink.
  • Responsible for the design, development and implementation of a customer care and billing solutions for internet service providers – Deployed the solution at large Telcos across the world including Bell Atlantic, Telecom New Zealand, Vodacom (South Africa) and Net Zero
  • Consulted with a variety of telecommunications providers working to develop a strategy for their billing and customer care platform transformation
    • Worked to understand their business needs and determine a strategy that would meet those needs
    • In many cases worked from first discussions, to design solution, to deploying the solutions at the customer site
  • Served in a Regional Director role responsible for delivery of all projects with a region – including end to end management of projects to deploy customer care, billing, mediation, and order management solutions at telecommunications providers in the US and Latin America
  • Responsible for the design, development and implementation of a customer care and billing solution for internet service providers – Deployed the solution at a variety of companies worldwide ranging from wireless and E-Commerce startups to national and regional telecommunications providers
