"This is where we can help not just with breaking the strategy down into tactical initiatives but also with putting in place a governance process to ensure that your organization stays on the path.”

"Give our team a challenge, a problem to solve, and we’ll find a way to make it work. That’s the fun part, working together, solutioning, creating new processes, and improving old ones. That’s when we work best – together. It’s hard, it’s often really hard, but that’s what makes it so rewarding.”
Melody has 24 years of business experience in Communications, Management, Training, Salesforce, Project Management, Customer Service, and Sales that all combine to deliver exponential client value. Her years of experience managing Salesforce CPQ implementations in multiple industries ranging from manufacturing and financial services to health care and telecommunications gives her the breadth of knowledge needed to overcome challenging multi-solution connections.
Her career started in telecom at Verizon, where she performed various roles from sales to service to fulfillment support to customer advocate before landing as a Training Manager. She participated in a legacy system to Oracle system transformation project that pivoted her into a technical business analyst role. That project led her down a career direction of technical training and facilitation. She worked in this avenue at PlumChoice for over six years, facilitating onboarding training for a rapid-growing call center vendor as gaining knowledge of repeatable processes for various clients, delivering training to a global team, and scaling to support technical program management.
After supporting an internal project for a tech support application, she realized her strength of business analysis and program management and entered the Salesforce Consulting space in 2015. At Coastal Cloud she managed a multi-phase, multi-cloud project through to deployment across a global platform. In 2017, Melody joined Code Zero team members as they built a Salesforce practice focused on Quote to Cash. Throughout her tenure, Melody managed many implementations of Salesforce CPQ and Salesforce Communities, wearing hats of implementation, advisory, and business development in those accounts. As a result, her portfolio includes support and oversight for over 30 enterprise-sized projects and programs in just under three years.
"Successful projects are defined through a specific beginning and an end. The success of a Revenue Cloud implementation most often includes a continuous transformation component, for ongoing change, where the end transitions a team to their next section of work. Simply stated, most businesses I’ve worked with over the years are continuously adapting, and their CPQ platform should be as agile as their business requires. Build programs of scale by planning for the long term and focusing efforts on short-term wins."
Chad is an IT Solutions Architect over 15 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining integrated technology-based solutions with a focus on process-first results. He continues to lead implementation teams ensuring designs are well-executed to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Mitch's career is grounded in ATG's delivery team, where he has matured from a "boots on the ground" Implementation Consultant (IC) to Solution Architect (SA) and Quote-2-Cash Subject Matter Expert (SME). Mitch provides a unique blend of skills, marrying rigorous business analysis expertise with application-specific solutions and industry best practice thought leadership.
Mitch's skillset is a rare blend in the delivery realm, serving as a cross-platform solution architect on the Salesforce, Gotransverse, and Aria billing platforms.
With his extensive focus on delivery, Mitch understands the importance of addressing business requirements systematically with an executable plan. In addition to best practice recommendations and application-specific designs he delivers on his project, Mitch is keen on charting the course from design document to post-go-live. Adopting a new - and often foreign - system is a daunting undertaking, and Mitch prides himself on his ability to guide all teams from day one to the finish line.
When not working, Mitch is an avid outdoorsman. He is happy to be plopped down in the middle seat of his drift boat rowing friends and family all over Montana's rivers when the weather permits. When not on the water, he enjoys archery hunting, skiing, and ultra-marathon running (as much as one can enjoy that last one).
Mitch also covets a nice warm bowl of applesauce.
"Technology projects are difficult, and you're kidding yourself if you think otherwise. I find great value in solving quoting, ordering, and billing problems that result in a high ROI without losing sight of the importance of strong project governance and the right technical fit. SaaS and PaaS billing systems are a new breed of application, enabling organizations to operate more nimbly as consumer expectations continue to shift. In order to realize the maximum value from these systems, project teams must bring to bear a laser focus on business analysis, an executable design, and rigorous quality assurance.
"I value teamwork over skill in any discipline and believe a sharp team can have a profound impact on the transformation of a company's back office. I enjoy working on an ambitious team that is constantly challenging all members to think deeper and grow their skills."

My goal in any engagement is to help clients realize successful outcomes by leading with empathy for the individuals going through the change, ensuring there is active and visible sponsorship of the change, and co-creating the right strategies and plans for individuals to successfully adopt the new ways of working.”

While my journey to join the organization took a few twists and turns, it was clear that the growth potential in ATG’s focus on the Monetization Ecosystem was a place I wanted to join."

"Funny story. After a particularly difficult year in 2012 in which I was diagnosed with cancer and the company I had been working for most of the prior 19 years went bankrupt, prospects seemed bleak. So one night as I was sleeping, my wife quietly swaddled me in a blanket, placed me in a wicker basket, and gently waded me out onto the Clark Fork River. Apparently, I floated down that river for days before being plucked to shore by now-ATG VP Holly Colbert, who whitewater rafting in Idaho at the time. I was later told that she thought I was a gift basket of mini-muffins, but I don’t believe it, you know, entirely.
"I was soon put to work scrubbing floors and fetching vittles. I felt so alive! A couple of months later I used my first phone call to ring my wife and let her know that I’d survived and she was so happy that she told me I could come home if I could ever figure out to where she moved.
"Welp, nine years later, and it’s been an absolute dream come true. My coworkers have nearly accepted me into the ATG family and, with their help, we’ve narrowed my wife’s location down to a four-state area."
Born in South Dakota but raised on the mean streets of Missoula, Jay has spent a lifetime clawing his way both up and down to the middle. Following long and successful stints in law enforcement (he was a golf course marshall for three seasons), direct sales, operations, swimsuit modeling, and data analytics, Jay introduced the concept of marketing to the ATG senior leadership team. Two years later, he landed that whale by demonstrating an innate ability to create PowerPoint slides that could be read without a telescope. Since then, it’s been uninterrupted days of whine and roses.
In 2015, Jay was dragged onto a bus to launch a 26-month, 47-state Quote to Cash barnstorming campaign. His resulting exposé, The Quote to Cash Tour, is his harrowing first-person account of taking the Q2C gospel to the midwest wedding circuit and the crowning achievement of a mostly nap-filled existence. His tome is still required reading for most university business schools and his peek behind the bun cart at the seedy underbelly of the American fast food industry deserves a silver screen adaptation.
As a founding member of ATG’s singular Quote 2 Cast Summit, Jay continues to humanize an industry entrenched in process automation. His romanticized notions of a week spent in the wilds in and around Missoula draw standing-room-only audiences to his taped-floor office as his coddled peers try to debunk Jay’s truth about how many people are fully eaten by grizzly bears every day in these here parts. In fact, most ATG consultants are too young to remember that the scene in which Leonardo DiCaprio was mauled by that bear in The Revenant was actually filmed in the elevator of the very offices currently occupied.
“I was eating dinner a while ago and noticed my wife staring into my eyes for the longest time. She then reached across the table and handed me a present. Aww. It was a beautiful silver bracelet. Now I’m not really a jewelry kind of guy but she insisted I wear it from then on. No wonder I love her so much.

Josh looks to enable ATG’s delivery resources through training, mentorship, and targeted support and dedicates his efforts to leading the delivery organization’s implementation assurance initiative."Attention to detail is key – and people are the fundamental detail. He also has multiple years of experience as a systems analyst in the healthcare space provisioning and maintaining electronic medical record systems and infrastructure."As companies go through large-scale digital transformations, data migration too often gets lost in the noise, underestimated, or focused on too late in the process. Data is core to every business and deserves to be a primary pillar in any digital transformation strategy. Data migrations are complex. The days of map-and-move have been replaced by intricate data transformation and process-driven migrations. ATG provides the experience and expertise to represent legacy data in new systems as if it originated there."

Throughout her career, Bridget Smith has always had a passion for developing talent and supporting teams. Her passion has developed into her primary focus for the past four years. After joining ATG, Bridget focused on developing her role expertise by supporting implementation projects as a Project Manager and Business Analyst, primarily for the Salesforce ecosystem.
During Bridget’s tenure, she has led a pool of talent ranging from our internship program candidates to Integration Architects, and Software & Data Engineers for ATG Engineering. Now she focuses on growing Business Analysts and Implementation Consultants across a myriad of platform solutions. Bridget continues to scale talent by serving as the Business Analyst Community of Practice Lead as well as assisting efforts with Josh Harteis in leading our delivery organization initiative, Implementation Assurance.
As the Business Analyst Practice Lead for ATG, Bridget ensures the community of analysts has what they need to be successful. To that end, Bridget has contributed to training, tool development, and calling all analysts to adhere to and evangelize our Atlas Delivery Framework®. Bridget is continuously working with our Talent and Training Operations Team to identify and develop training content that provides the opportunity to scale and grow our organization, one new-hire class at a time.
As the Implementation Assurance Lead for Analysts, Bridget works closely with project team members on implementations across all platform areas to ensure the team is driving toward creating successful outcomes for our clients. This includes analysis of how well the team is adhering to the Atlas Framework, leveraging tools and resources available to them through our greater organization, and assessing the level of mentorship support needed to move the project forward. By far, the favorite part of her role is celebrating opportunities for team collaboration from all aspects of our business.
"I am very proud to be part of this team - a team that promotes collaboration over competition, creativity over the status quo, and encourages a level of innovation in problem-solving that drives our clients and projects toward successful outcomes. To date, I do not know of a challenge we are not willing to take and when we succeed, we succeed together."

In her leadership role, Kendra takes pride in mentoring and investing in the growth of each team member to ensure delivery excellence. Using situational leadership techniques, she aims to bring out the best in each and every team member while helping them on their own personal growth journey.
"Implementing a software-based Sales Performance Management solution is crucial for surfacing visibility, value, and in-depth analysis on how your business incentivizes its employees. By introducing an Incentive Compensation Management technology, your team can shift focus away from the day-to-day hassles of handling compensation in excel spreadsheets or homegrown systems. It also provides more time to analyze and optimize incentive plans and drive revenue for your company. In this fast-paced, technology-driven environment only those taking advantage of these tools will continue to succeed and grow, leaving those who don’t lag behind."

"You cannot merely ‘lift and shift’ your pain points to new technology. You must look at process improvements, be open to changes that streamline inefficiencies, and remove redundancies. Too often we have ‘blinders’ to where the true inefficiencies lie and through asking the right questions enough times, we can finally uncover them."

"Just because something can be built, doesn’t mean it should be built. Too often we see customers looking to developers to build custom functionality in hopes of ‘fixing a problem’ that is really a symptom of a larger issue. The beauty of being a consultant first (and a software engineer second), is the many opportunities to further evaluate our customers’ people, processes, and technology to ensure we are indeed providing a viable solution instead of addressing a symptom."

I am constantly collaborating with and learning from other ATG resources.”

Through all of Kyle’s experience, he has gained a keen insight into many systems that allow for projects to flow seamlessly and allow for them to be completed successfully. Kyle initially cut his teeth in the Q2C landscape working with Oracle BigMachines with additional projects involving multiple billing systems including MetraNet and Aria. With this experience, Kyle fully understands many of the subtleties that go into addressing requirements and their effect across the entire enterprise environment, leading Kyle to have great aptitude in pointing out best practice recommendations and allowing for complex system designs. Kyle takes pride in his work and works to ensure that the client is successful in their implementations.
Kyle enjoys working in Montana Wisconsand all the opportunities that it enables. When not working he prefers to spend his time outdoors with his wife and two daughters, whether it be taking the horses for a ride or just going on a shirtless winter walk in the beautiful Montana Wisconsin air.
“Nothing is ever easy because if it was it wouldn’t be worth doing. Some of the greatest frustrations lead to the greatest feelings of accomplishment. Doing the right thing and always putting the client first will always put you in a position to be successful."
Erin has more than seven years of experience as a project manager in the SaaS field and specializes in billing solution implementation. In the years prior, Erin worked as a Stage Manager for various productions in the Philadelphia and D.C. areas and in operations for a start-up.
In operations, Erin used her skills from Stage Management to drive various initiatives. She was referred to as a natural PM from the start. Following Project Management classes at Villanova University, she agreed to officially accept a role in project management. Erin cut her teeth working on internal initiatives, managing teams, and projects all over the globe. After successfully hiring a team of DBA’s, System Administrators, and a highly-skilled writer to help her scale the Operations team and implement new processes to support the growing business, Erin chose to move to the client-facing world.
As an Implementations Project Manager, Erin continues to draw parallels to her start in theater: A cast and crew are formed, months are spent working along with a schedule that leads to dress-/technical rehearsals, and eventually you, quite literally, go live. Each production is unique, but they all follow the same formula and principles to keep things moving along, organized, and changes properly tracked. It’s with this background that Erin approaches her roles and has always been able to find the value in People, Process, and Technology alignment.
“Through my years in the field, ATG has always had a great reputation for their extremely knowledgeable staff and high-quality processes around project management. That knowledge, paired with the opportunity to expand my reach through the rest of the ATG Monetization Ecosystem™, is what led me to work here."
William has been with ATG since 2013 working in numerous roles and applications throughout the organization. He has spent time on strategy and implementation projects, primarily focused on technical, architecture roles for large, enterprise engagements. He has years of background in Salesforce Revenue Cloud, operating as a Solution Architect and Implementation Consultant for both CPQ and Billing projects.
Currently, William is part of the Platform Architecture team and is a Principal Consultant. He has also led a team of solution architects for several years and focuses on how to scale and train future solution architects.
William has been involved in some of ATG’s largest Salesforce implementations, working with companies going through large-scale business transformations. Many of these companies are transitioning from home-grown back-office solutions, or through acquisitions and mergers and need new or improved enterprise solutions. William wears many hats on his projects in addition to his main architecture role, through enterprise business analysis, project manager, and quality assurance, to ensure there is strong collaboration and success throughout the entire customer journey.
“I strongly believe in approaching each project differently, knowing that one solution or approach might not work for all clients. Understanding the customer’s vision and business drivers is critical for setting up the entire project for success. I focus on ensuring there is strong collaboration with the customer, consistent and timely communication, and attention to quality and scale that drive desired business outcomes. ”
Keely has over 10 years of technical project management experience that spans the complete software lifecycle from design and creation to implementation and maintenance. At ATG, she is one of the most well-rounded project managers, thriving on complex, multi-facetted implementations of SaaS systems such as Salesforce CPQ, Billing, Conga, and Docusign. Keely is seen as a leader throughout the project management community.
Before taking on the Quote to Cash world, Keely was the Implementation Manager for a school bus routing and GPS software company. She managed a team of 10 project managers and two Data Analysts. She was also the GPS tracking software Subject Matter Expert and it was there that Keely really found her passion for customer-facing project management. The act of ensuring America’s youth had the opportunity to an education when many around the world are not so privileged was profoundly powerful. Keely also became a mother during this time period and connected with a parent’s need to keep their children safe as they sent them off to school. GPS tracking of both buses and students provided the extra level of security a parent needed to feel comfortable.
Keely received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wyoming in International Studies with a focus on Africa in the Middle East and French. She studied abroad in Senegal which is a Muslim, French-speaking county. This experience humbled Keely and changed her worldview. Upon returning home, Keely lived in Denver and helped relocate refugees through the African Cultural Center. Concurrently, she also worked in Accounts Payable for a national building supply company.
Finding Project Management for Keely was finding her passion. Who knew her list-keeping and money-hoarding in a fanny-pack as a child could translate to a career! It has been a journey to get to where Keely is now but she wouldn’t change any of it because it led her here… and here is pretty darn good.
"The strategy involved in taking a group of people all with different experiences and varying skillsets, a specific sum of money, and a goal in mind then melding it together to achieve success is truly an art form. It can be intimidating to most and too stressful for many but let me tell you, those who get it right carry pride in their heart that can never be forgotten. Welcome to Project Management."

“If you look at successful projects and troublesome projects, you always see clear communication and expectations at the forefront of successful projects and poor communication and expectations hampering troublesome ones.”
Tom has more than 30 years of experience in the communications industry, working both as a consultant to – and employee of – service providers. He has held executive positions involving strategic development, new product development, market positioning, sales, customer service, and business unit management.
As a consultant, Tom has worked with a number of start-up service providers as well as mature companies, leveraging his deep experience across multiple business functions. In these roles Tom participated in the design and execution of business functions that were integral to finance, accounting and billing, as well as fundamental to the Quote to Cash process.
Tom works with the Missoula Solution Center (MSC) as a senior consultant, where he has executed a series of projects documenting system architectures and workflows for Lead to Cash processes; developing billing system requirements; and planning billing system conversions.
“When a project is big, complex and mission-critical, it demands both functional- and company-specific expertise. There is no substitute for the experience one gains from going through a process multiple times, just as there is no substitute for the knowledge of how systems and processes work together within a specific company.
"Every project has its own unique challenges, but you can mitigate project risk by having the right mix of expertise (functional and company-specific) who know how to apply their expertise when new challenges emerge (as they always do).”
Enhancing the user experience through in-depth requirements elicitation and user interface design is Anneloes’ professional passion. With almost 20 years of experience in the software development and implementation space, she is a sought-after Business Analyst and UX Designer on ATG projects.
Prior to joining the ATG team, Anneloes spend 8 years as the lead UX Designer for a Quote to Cash solution tailored to the utility industry. Different phases of this project focused on various components of the ATG Monetization Ecosystem™, such as CRM, Order Management, Product Catalog, Usage Management, Service Delivery, Payment Processing, and of course Billing & Invoicing. This solution ultimately reduced data errors by 99%, new user training hours by 25%, and allowed CSRs to answer 80% of inquiries from the primary customer page.Anneloes takes a user-centered approach to everything she does and has a reputation for creating detailed process flows, interactive mockups, user-focused demos, and reusable toolkits. During her time with ATG, she has been instrumental in the development of a number of custom software solutions, including a two-year project where she partnered with ATG’s developers to design and build a billing solution from scratch. Anneloes uses her deep knowledge of business analysis and design to help implement a variety of cloud billing and CPQ solutions and serves as team lead and mentor for newer consultants at ATG.
"My favorite ATG Core Value is the Power of Teams. It is such an honor to work with a group of super talented consultants that realize that incredible results happen when you teach others what you know and learn from others what you don’t."
"I joined ATG to be in on the ground floor of an organization with trustworthy leadership that was focusing on the people, process and technology related to the ATG Monetization Ecosystem™. Having the opportunity to work with a combination industry veterans and bright, enthusiastic newcomers is an added bonus."
Sharmon brings a significant breadth and depth of experience and expertise across the monetization ecosystem. She’s been involved in the people, process and technology aspects of systems implementations, current-state assessments, vendor selection, custom software development and systems integration in various roles, both official and de-facto.
Her technology career began in the wireless industry, and has progressed through various service providers environments. Before the concept of Quote to Cash was commonly understood, Sharmon was implementing and integrating ordering, provisioning, and billing systems to make it happen. With ATG, Sharmon has broadened her experience in CPQ and CLM, and will now happily whiteboard the whole ecosystem for you if you ask.
Even when not on the road working with ATG’s clients, Sharmon enjoys traveling to new places, meeting new people, and seeing new things. If there’s live music involved… even better.
Once the heiress to the toilet paper empire that bears her name, Sharmon walked away from the gilded life to help businesses manage their customers and revenue, and ATG is lucky to have her.
"Stakeholders are usually eager to talk about how the systems and processes will work when adding new customers. That’s great, but it’s not the whole picture. You also want to serve your existing customers, and sometimes customers leave. We’ll help you evaluate all the use cases that your business needs to support and prepare for your launch."
Evin holds B.S. and M.S. Computer Science degrees from the University of Montana and has worked with ATG for over 6 years. His first position at ATG was as a QA Automation Engineer. He later transitioned to the role of Software Engineer. Most recently, he has assumed the role of Practice Lead within the Data Engineering department of our delivery team.
As an individual contributor, Evin has successfully led projects across a number of roles and responsibilities. As a practice lead, he has helped to cultivate a community of Data Engineers who are excelling as individual contributors and thought leaders.
Evin continues to be an active leader in practice development efforts which allow his team to enhance existing processes, develop best practices, and build relationships with other practice areas across ATG.
"Data Engineering is the hardest job on a Q2C project, and it represents the greatest risk to a project’s success. Getting data into any system is easy, but doing it “right” is the hard part. Success can only be achieved if we align the right stakeholders (ATG & client) to collaborate on a vision for migrated data. Fundamental questions regarding data must be asked and answered.
"Once a vision for migrated data takes form, we can begin to reach for the outcome a client is looking for."
Josh got his start in IT after finishing his Bachelor’s in Management Information Systems (MIS) from the University of Montana in 2012. His background in hospitality and small business operations coupled with this technical training enables him to work effectively with stakeholders and project teams to achieve successful outcomes.
Through the last ten years Josh has worn several hats, including enterprise business analysis, delivery assurance, project manager, and program manager. As a Principal Consultant within our Delivery Management organization, Josh is tasked with delivering projects for some of our company’s largest and complex clients while supporting the growth of our practice.
When he’s not actively managing client engagements, Josh focuses on training and mentorship for ATG’s growing delivery team of project managers. He’s passionate not just about delivering successful projects, but helping colleagues and clients grow as well.
"Which engagement is more successful – the one that came in on-time, on-budget, and within scope but failed user adoption, or the project that was late, over-budget, and widely accepted? The answer completely depends on our definition of success. That’s why it’s so incredibly important to work together in order to define tangible outcomes that take us beyond the SOW. Our ability to build deep, trusting relationships and achieve those goals is what sets us apart."
Matt Shepker leads the Information Management & Architecture group at ATG. This group is responsible for all database and data-facing applications designed and developed by ATG. Matt lives in Overland Park with his family. He is involved in several open source hardware and software projects and is currently building a semi-autonomous ROV.
"I look at consulting as an opportunity to contribute to the entire organization, not just an individual department or a business unit. An organization may initially look to a consulting company, or even an individual consultant, for specific expertise, skills, and experience. To provide real value, that individual or company must be willing to contribute in different areas than what they were originally brought in for."

"When all is said and done, there are only two things that really matter: Does the system work, and is the client happy? I work hard to make sure the answer is 'yes' to both of these questions, and my teammates at ATG do, too.”
Reza has nearly 25 years of experience involving telecommunication OSS/BSS system architectural design. His designing experiences focused on key monetization systems including order entry, resource management, CPQ, provisioning, taxation, and billing. He has high analytical skills that provide data-level views of end-to-end internal systems and integrated systems analysis.
"What processes, platforms, and applications do is to help data complete its end-to-end journey throughout the systems. Knowing the data structure, transformation, and flow throughout the systems will give us an in-depth view of application architecture."
"As a life-long consultant working primarily in finance and business strategy sectors, I was drawn to the opportunity of working in the ever-growing tech space. I had also heard of ATG; it has made a name for itself in our small mountain town as a solid employer and community advocate. When I heard that ATG also has excellent training programs to support accelerated onboarding for those without a background in tech, I was immediately interested! The rest is history."
